Presenting the 2017 UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television Fellowship in Film Award...

Linda Christina Riedmann is a producer originally hailing from rural Austria. She obtained her BA in Film Studies summa cum laude from King’s College in London, where she focused her research on the politics of representation in media. During a student exchange at UCLA in 2014, Linda discovered her passion for film production and the film business. In 2015, she was accepted into the UCLA Producers Program. Linda has interned at RatPac Entertainment, Film Nation, Fox Searchlight, and Participant Media. She has produced a 3-part TV series nominated for a college Emmy Award, and has worked on short and feature projects under James Franco. As a producer, she is determined to encourage open-mindedness and critical thinking via the content she champions, and to push the boundaries of storytelling in innovative directions. When she’s not catching up on beloved independent films, watching Mamma Mia for the 20th time, or geeking out about Harry Potter, Linda loves to be active outdoors and go on hikes, swim, or play tennis.
