We now have a wonderful spot/PSA about the wonder of the theater from our friends at Dolby, to show school-age children who take field trips to your theaters.
It is very important that we connect the next generation to the theatrical experience. Teachers have told us that this generation wants to know how things work. So, not only are you providing the cinema experience with the featured content, but this spot also explains why there is no experience like the cinematic experience.
Concept
- An educational short that will play before the featured content for kids on field trip to the theater that helps them understand why the visual and sound experience of a theater is superior to any other form of media entertainment.
- This is not a spot that will play before current movies, only before the content that students are at the theater to see.
“Getting younger people to enjoy the theatrical experience…on a screen that is bigger and more engaging than films they see at home will make a difference.”
“I urge a rethinking. You will be investing in the future of the cinematic experience for the good of all of us.” – Martin Scorsese
We know some exhibitors do not have Dolby in all auditoriums and that’s OK. This spot is made by Dolby, but the content is about the wonder of the theater.
