One movie in particular that I believe must be experienced at a theater is Demon Slayer Mugen Train, a continuation of the Demon Slayer series. Demon Slayer is a series that takes place in a world where monsters who used to be humans, also known as demons, terrorize innocent civilians and disrupt peace. The swordsmen who stop these monsters are known as demon slayers. This movie follows a group of demon slayers with protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, who lost his family to the first ever demon and main antagonist Muzan Kibutsuji who also turned his sister into a demon. The group and many more demon slayers share the same goal of defeating Muzan and all other demons. In this movie they go after a demon who terrorizes a train, puts the passengers to sleep, and manipulates their dreams.
This movie is full of vibrant colors, satisfying imagery, and an amazing soundtrack. All of these factors are amplified and given justice at the movie theater. Movie theaters provide the highest quality visuals whicch is exactly what a movie like this requires to provide the best experience. I remember noticing how incredible the music sounded even during one of the most intense and suspenseful scenes. Watching this movie in theaters made me feel as if I had been experiencing it myself as I was drawn into a different universe. The movie theater also made it more moving. As you're drawn into the movie, you begin to feel the emotions that are displayed on the screen. Whether the characters are feeling sad, scared, happy, or humorous, you are able to sympathize and connect with them. The community is another reason why this movie is better experienced in theaters. Like me and my friends, most audience members have been following the story during the first season and are there to witness what happens next. When this movie first came out people even wore costumes and merchandise to support one of their favorite series. There was an excitement and energy that the entire audience shared together. These were people you could laugh, cry, and enjoy with. Experiences are made better when they are shared with people who have similar interests as yours. When I watched this movie again at my home, I noticed that it wasn't as impactful and stimulating. It did not feel the same as when I watched it in theatres where me and my friends were at the edge of our seats eager to see how the movie ends. This movie is suspenseful, full of twists, action packed and must be watched in theatres.
Movie theaters don't just provide fresh popcorn and reclining seats, they also provide experience. Although you can watch a movie with your friends at home, it is not as memorable and impactful as watching it with them at a theater. A trip to the movies is more memorable than a trip to your couch. The excitement of planning and buying tickets, the anticipation when watching the trailer, and the feelings you share with others during the movie makes going to the theatres more impactful and memorable. They provide the best quality audio and visuals that surpass a T.V's capabilities. Overall, movies are better to watch at a theatre because they provide experience, quality, and a friendly community. It is not just this movie, but all movies that should first be experienced in theatres.
