NATO of CA/NV BIOGRAPHY

Todd Vradenburg
NATO of CA/NV President and CEO

Todd Vradenburg joined NATO of CA/NV on March 14, 2022 as its new President/CEO. Mr. Vradenburg comes to the Association with 25 years of experience with the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. In his position as Executive Director he oversaw the organization’s three distinct programs: The Will Rogers Institute - known for their annual fundraising in movie theaters, the Pioneers Assistance Fund - a program that provides both financial assistance and counseling to members of the motion picture industry, and Brave Beginnings – a critical equipment program for hospital neonatal intensive care units.

When he was chosen to lead the Will Rogers organization it was going through a time of change and transition. He has now joined NATO of CA/NV as our industry is slowly recovering from the COVID pandemic that shut down most of our locations for many months, and forced some members to leave the industry. Todd became a respected member of the entertainment industry, within exhibition and distribution, as well as the non-for-profit industry during his tenure with Will Rogers. The experience he brings from Will Rogers to NATO of CA/NV should serve him and the Association well.

Before joining Will Rogers, Todd held positions with the American Heart Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, LEGO toy company, and Professional Sports Publishers (PSP).

Todd is also an Advisory Board Member for the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission and a board member for the Glendale Community College Foundation and the Will Rogers Ranch Foundation in Palisades, California.

Maura Ortega
Operations & Communications Manager

Maura Ortega has just joined NATO of California/Nevada as the new Operations and Communications Manager. Maura’s love of films and going to the theatre started at a young age when she’d beg to tag along with her older sister to the movies. It was fate when she started working for Theatrical Entertainment Services (now VeriTES) and discovered another side to the industry with trailer and open checks. After almost a decade as a vendor, she moved to exhibition and worked for Krikorian Premiere Theatres and most recently, Landmark Theatres. She was a long-time volunteer with Variety – the Children’s Charity of Southern California and a board member and past president of Young Variety.
