I believe one movie that NEEDS to be seen in theaters is Spider-Man: No Way Home. I saw that movie the second day of its release with my friends. I was planning to see the movie later once it came out on streaming services; however, one of my friends wasn't able to make it to the movies so I decided to come instead on a whim, and it was the best decision I've made.

Seeing this Spiderman in theaters close to when it first came out was the best experience I have had watching a movie in the theater. Surprisingly, this was all due to one reason: audience reactions. I can confidently say that I would not have enjoyed the movie as much as I did if I watched it at home on the T.V. or on a phone. Having people already excited to see another Marvel movie come out on top of having a crossover in it that has never been done before created a contagious giddiness that was passed from row to row.

Most people already knew that all three Spidermans were going to meet each other so the excitement really came through when it was time to watch the scene. When Tobey Maguire finally came through his portal, the crowd went wild. I was taken aback as to how loud people were screaming and that even intensified my own reaction. I was just overcome with joy; it was almost like the feeling you get at the best part of a roller coaster, and this was all happening because of the people around me.

The best experiences in life happen when you are surrounded by people who love the same things you do. This is why things like new movie releases and concerts are loved by many people. Being at a rock concert surrounded by people who only love country would not be a good experience. Being at a rock concert surrounded by people who love it as much as you do is an amazing feeling: people singing, dancing, jumping, and everything in between are what makes it memorable. Just like this Spiderman movie and other movies with historically memorable theater directions such as Star Wars in 1977 or The Exorcist in 1973. The people were there soaking every scene up in there with you- laughing, gasping, screaming, or even crying and fainting for movies like the Exorcist.

If I decided against watching the movie with my friends and ended up seeing it on my phone, I wouldn't have gotten why everyone loved it more than I would have. I believe this happens for a lot of movies such as the ones I have previously named and others such as Endgame or Infinity War. I sadly did not get to see these movies in theaters, but after watching Spiderman, I know for a fact I would have enjoyed it and soaked it up more if I was there in the seats getting to watch not only the movie itself with its amazing audio and video quality but also the reactions of the hundreds of people around me. The theater turns it from watching a screen to being part of an enhanced exhilarating experience. That is the reason I loved going to movies growing up and the exact reason I wanted to work at Regal also.
